One of the things I have come to truly love is Christmas.
Growing up I was raised Jehovah's Witness and we weren't allowed to celebrate it. The exception was my youngest sister who's father raised her catholic. Looking back Christmas Mornings was a bit of a bleak affair for the middle sister and I. We would wake up to squeals of our cute baby sister as she found presents under her Christmas tree. We would laugh and smile at all the cool new toys she unwrapped while the older sister and I simultaneously pretended like we were't hurt that there was nothing there for us. Hoping that there might be a small little gift with our names on it stuffed away somewhere way in the corner. Kind of seems cruel to do that to little kids. (emotional damage). Anyway as I grew up and became a Father to 2 beautiful children myself. I began to celebrate and be a part of the Christmas celebrations over the years and I absolutely adore Christmas time and what that time of year brings out in people. I have always appreciated the message attached to the Season. So this song is my first of hopefully many attempts of a Christmas song. I hope you enjoy it. Merry Christmas.
