WĀWÜ

Lofi shadow-world groove trio

WĀWÜ (Spirit, Heart, Soul) is not a band you watch; it is a transmission you encounter.

Born from the discovery of degraded VHS tapes form the 90's found in an abandoned cabin deep within the Algonquin wilderness, WĀWÜ translates the static nostalgia of the "shadow-world" into a physical experience. Weaving together lo-fi soul, heavy analog grooves, and "after-dark" textures, the trio exists in the flickering space between the sunset of an endless summer and the deep ambience of the moonlit wilderness.

Performing exclusively as silhouettes backlit by immersive projections, WĀWÜ strips away the performer to let the pulse take the lead. This is instrumental soul for the seekers, the night-riders, and the spirit-movers.
